It is a Wi-Fi quadricopter with 2 cameras, and is controllable with iOS and android devices through your Wi-Fi - which makes it quite the spy-toy.
Unlike a remote controlled helicopter the A.R Drone is a more stable craft and it has some semi-autonomous features. The Drone starts, hovers, and lands by the push of a button thanks to the bottom mounted camera and an ultrasonic altimeter setup.
This is an interactive gaming experience. The Ar Drone app is free download from the app store and lets you learn how to pilot your very own quadricopter, as if you were seated in the pilots seat.
